One always hears about how much harder it is to divorce than to marry. And indeed the process of ending a marriage is both emotional and confusing anyway you look at it; especially when you and your spouse hail from different countries. I used Diana Adams Law & Mediation services to help me with my divorce. Andy acted as mediator between my now ex-wife and I. I'm very happy with Andy's work and he was able to have my ex and I come up with a fair agreement that also meant an emotional closure. My ex and I had lost contact for quite a while and we had lost trust in each other. She had moved abroad and that made it even more complicated. Andy was very good at setting expectations and following a procedure in which steps were taken gradually allowing for reflection between each interaction. However at some point the main conflicts were brought up and there was a critical moment when it seemed mediation wouldn't work. Andy was very good at managing that situation. He allowed each side to look at things from a different perspective taking into account each other's personalities. The mediation moved forward and we came up with a good solution. I am now a happy divorcee, convinced that we did the right thing and this also allowed me to have a healthy closure in my mind. 

  I attended a large, 40-50 person, consent and boundaries workshop facilitated by Andy last Winter. Andy was absolutely amazing at engaging difficult and emotional topics. They deftly navigated us through everything having to do with establishing consent and what to do if consent is breached. I have worked in sex education for years, and I still came away from Andy’s workshop feeling like I had learned a ton of new mental models for teaching consent to others. If you are looking for someone who will open up an engaging and enlightening conversation around consent with a mix of honesty, wit, and expertise, then Andy is absolutely the person you need to work with.
